The Turtle and The Hair

November 25th, 2021 – Post #24

If you missed what the doctor said last week about what needs to happen for her to qualify for surgery, click here.

A message from my mom (we were having some technical difficulties with her posting):

Hello everyone – I hope you had a nice Thanksgiving. I have this week off from chemo, because of neuropathy in my legs.

I walked with a walker to Walker Lake and got as far as the turtles, before turning back. Here’s the finish line – a turtle (with no hair). 🐢🐇

Jody & Megan were here for a very nice dinner some friends brought for us.

The cardinals in our front yard had quite a family reunion for Thanksgiving – three males and six females all at once.

Thank you for all of your kind notes and prayers. Love, Beth

My mom is getting a very good medicine on a daily basis.

I'm not sure what to say here: I once got second place in a dog-look-alike-contest? I know how to fold a fitted sheet? I'm pretty much a poster child for social backwardness - at least as far as social media is concerned; but I have some stories I think I'm supposed to share and am attempting to do that here, in this space.
