What Did I Accomplish Today to Be a Writer?

I’m so glad that God gave us the example of resting one day in seven. It’s a great chance to reset and start over.

Since this is pre-posted (in preparation for my day off), I don’t know for sure; but I’d guess I did Day 126 of the 100 Words a Day Writing Challenge 2024 through L.A. Writers’ Lab.  

What I’m Doing as Chief Operating Officer of My Writing Business to Move Forward

I’m telling my “other” employees to take a day off. 🙂

Here’s a poem I wrote for my mom last year during her struggle with dementia and pancreatic cancer:

It’s hard to believe I’m on the other side of that now. I feel very blessed to have made it through and to be where I am.

I'm not sure what to say here: I once got second place in a dog-look-alike-contest? I know how to fold a fitted sheet? I'm pretty much a poster child for social backwardness - at least as far as social media is concerned; but I have some stories I think I'm supposed to share and am attempting to do that here, in this space.
