Congratulations to all CPAs – you made it to the finish line.

Now it’s time to face the extensions…

I feel like I’ve been in a revolving extension application line with my memoir.

At some point I just need to cut myself off from the rewrite process. Every time I sit down to shorten the story I wind up expanding it.

What Did I Accomplish Today to Be a Writer?

I did Day 106 of the 100 Words a Day Writing Challenge 2024 through L.A. Writers’ Lab, and I wrote a Chapter Two for my current draft, then realized it really ought to be Chapter Three really, then shared it with my writing group, then realized it doesn’t really belong in my book after all.

Oh brother.

My plan for today was to begin sharing my organizational structure starting with:

My Current Home Management Strategies to Help Stay Organized as a Writer

But my brain is as frazzled as the dandelions dying in my yard, so I’m just gonna go do some mowing therapy.

Thanks for reading what I’m writing,

Jody Susan

I guess it took me nearly a hundred days to find my lost car key, because I talk about misplacing it in this post and just found it a few days ago:

I did get Wi-Fi and a printer; but didn’t have the courage to post too many more of those cringe-worthy potato videos on Instagram…

I'm not sure what to say here: I once got second place in a dog-look-alike-contest? I know how to fold a fitted sheet? I'm pretty much a poster child for social backwardness - at least as far as social media is concerned; but I have some stories I think I'm supposed to share and am attempting to do that here, in this space.
