This post is pre-written, since today is my day off.
I believe in the book of Genesis.
I believe we were created in the image of a Creative God.
I believe that He worked six days and rested for one.
I believe we were made to do the same.
Taking a day of rest can do wonders for a person’s creativity.
Reflecting on what got done the preceding week can be a big help when discouragement sets in.
Sometimes in life all that can be seen is the mountains looming ahead that have yet to be scaled; but if we will pause, take time to look back, and reflect, we can usually see a better view of just how far we’ve come.
What Did I Accomplish Today to Be a Writer?
Since this is pre-posted, I’m only going to speculate; but knowing my habits, I’d guess that I did Day 98 of the 100 Words a Day Writing Challenge 2024 through L.A. Writer’s Lab, in order to keep up with my daily journaling, and took a break from the rest of my work.
Hopefully, I also rejoiced that my taxes were done; but I can’t say that yet for sure – so I’m signing off now to go and try to get those done.
