I’d like to be a better reflector.
I’m not sure that could be considered correct English; but what I’m trying to say is that instead of always trying to strive ahead, I’d like to do a better job at looking back from where I’ve come.
For that reason, I’ve decided that on Monday, which will be post #99, I’m going to link back to the post I wrote January 1st, which is labeled #1 and keep that pattern up moving forward, adding in some reflections on my “failings” and “progress”.
I’ll just say openly that part of my line of reasoning is to have some backlinks to what I’ve written before, so that the search engines see this as a viable site; but it’s also to give myself a sense of what ground I’ve covered. What I’ve followed through on. Where I’ve fallen short, etc…
What Did I Accomplish Today to Be a Writer?
I did Day 97 of the 100 Words a Day Writing Challenge 2024 through L.A. Writer’s Lab.
I got my lawnmower stuck in the mud. Then I got stuck in the mud.
I’m sure I will be writing on that subject some day.
Just not today, because I’m covered in dried mud and had to abandon my boots while I await a “towing service” (it’s tough sometimes being one of my relatives – thanks Brad).
Hopefully there will be a happy ending for my mower and me.
