My Journey to Become a Writer 12/30/2024 Post #365

(12/31/2024) I slacked off on this yesterday, because I was trying to hit too many benchmarks with my website along with wrapping up logo and book cover designs.

What Did I Accomplish Today to Be a Writer?

  • Did Day 365 of the 100 Words a Day Writing Challenge 2024 through L.A. Writers’ Lab
  • Worked on creating a story about stories in Canva using images from a photoshoot
  • Fine-tuned my “About” page as a Character Sheet
  • Communicated back and forth quite a bit with a designer about three different logos
  • Got up super early to record samples for my website before the airplanes and helicopters started buzzing overhead and people banged their doors heading for the breakfast buffet
  • Watched a movie and predicted story structure points – I nailed them, which makes me feel like I’m finally getting the pattern down pat

My Current Home Management Strategies to Help Stay Organized as a Writer

Well, I’ve been gone for a while, but wherever I am, I try to take regular breaks to get my stuff back in order, so it doesn’t become too scattered.

Thanks for reading what I’m writing,

Jody Susan

The post down below from 99 days ago makes me wish I would have continued to keep my Canva files in order. That is one website I have a really hard time navigating through when it comes to my content.

I'm not sure what to say here: I once got second place in a dog-look-alike-contest? I know how to fold a fitted sheet? I'm pretty much a poster child for social backwardness - at least as far as social media is concerned; but I have some stories I think I'm supposed to share and am attempting to do that here, in this space.
