My Journey to Become a Writer 12/27/2024 Post #362

I’ve totally been slacking at this, because I’ve been working so hard at other stuff, trying to finalize my eBook, logos, and lots of stuff for this website.

What Did I Accomplish Today to Be a Writer?

I did Day 362 of the 100 Words a Day Writing Challenge 2024 through L.A. Writers’ Lab, and the stuff I said up above. Today’s actually the 30th, so I can’t totally recall. Oh wait, I’m wrong – it’s the 30th in the East, but I’m not there. Now I’m really mixed up. Maybe I did all this stuff the next day. I don’t even know anymore. It’s really time to wrap up this year!

I think this was the day I started working with a designer to do three different logos. Delegation is hard for me, but this was good practice.

My Marketing & Distribution Strategies for Publishing & Improving My Platform

I also assigned ISBN numbers to four different formats of my book: hardcover, paperback, audiobook, and eBook – then worked on the blurb and picked categories. All the little details of distribution are starting to get done. I’ve started setting up pre-orders in hopes of printing January 25th, which would be my mom’s birthday.

Okay, gotta go write tomorrow’s post, which would really be yesterday’s, since I’m behind.

Thanks for reading what I’m writing,

Jody Susan

The post down below from 99 days ago sounds like the same broken record that’s been going through my head this week.

I'm not sure what to say here: I once got second place in a dog-look-alike-contest? I know how to fold a fitted sheet? I'm pretty much a poster child for social backwardness - at least as far as social media is concerned; but I have some stories I think I'm supposed to share and am attempting to do that here, in this space.
