I’ve got company in town, so I’m writing this in the morning to make sure it actually happens…

What Did I Accomplish Today to Be a Writer?

• Did Day 347 of the 100 Words a Day Writing Challenge 2024 through L.A. Writers’ Lab
• Wrote posts for the last two days – since I’d fallen behind
• Did some work on my calendar with an emphasis on time blocking in order to complete my book and website
• Made a commitment to my website designer to turn content in by the end of the year
• Touched base with a writing group that I’ve met with about upcoming meetings
• Wrote to a fellow-writer to set up a time to help with her IngramSpark issues
• Scheduled a goal-setting workshop
• Reached out to my contact at Sweetwater to get advice on setting up my audio booth for consistent recording

It’s 9:03 a.m., so even if I don’t get to any more of my writing work, I feel like I’ve gotten something accomplished.

Research & Development I’m Doing to Improve My Writing & Business Strategy

I’ve been trying to learn more about ACX, acoustics, and getting my book and website squared away. It’s crunch time – I want this book complete by the end of the year, and I hope to have all my website content turned in to the designer. On that note, I’d better go ahead and sign off.

The post down below from 99 days ago makes me so glad I’m done recording my audiobook. Looking back, I can see why this project was so hard. It isn’t just a manuscript, it’s a broken heart beginning to finally heal.
