My Journey to Become a Writer 12/10/2024 Post #345

Today is 12/12 – I’m definitely falling short of my goals, but I’ve been moving in such a flurry that I haven’t been able to get to this post.

I had company, and leaving my modem on to write an update would have disturbed someone’s slumber, so I set it aside.

What Did I Accomplish Today to Be a Writer?

I did Day 345 of the 100 Words a Day Writing Challenge 2024 through L.A. Writers’ Lab and worked on getting my audio booth set up. Besides that, I made some contacts and went to an event to support one of my fellow writers. We discussed how to support the arts in Wabash.

My Office Management Strategy to Cut Down on Distractions as a Writer

Oh dear – it’s been a file dump lately. I’ve got a heap of paperwork to plow through, but I’m making my way towards it.

(Spoiler alert from 12/12 – I got everything into boxes that say “Sort ASAP” and made my office clean as a whistle. I’ve scheduled in Saturday as the day to sit down and go through those – so we shall see…)

Thanks for reading what I’m writing,

Jody Susan

The post down below from 99 days ago makes me laugh – I was nearing maintenance mode until another stash from the storage facility landed in my garage and attic. I’ve been making my way through that rubble and am beginning to see light from that. Hopefully soon…

I'm not sure what to say here: I once got second place in a dog-look-alike-contest? I know how to fold a fitted sheet? I'm pretty much a poster child for social backwardness - at least as far as social media is concerned; but I have some stories I think I'm supposed to share and am attempting to do that here, in this space.
