My Journey to Become a Writer 12/09/2024 Post #344

It’s 10:08 P.M., and I didn’t obey my rule to stay in bed until 5 A.M. this morning, so I’m pretty tuckered out…

What Did I Accomplish Today to Be a Writer?

I did Day 344 of the 100 Words a Day Writing Challenge 2024 through L.A. Writers’ Lab.

I also re-recorded the two minute section of my audiobook that had some buzzing in the background. It’s funny how out of practice I felt after not sitting in front of a microphone for a month or so. I’m thinking I need to make recording a regular part of my schedule, because I could tell I was freezing up.

My Current Home Management Strategies to Help Stay Organized as a Writer

Well, today I did a giant Walmart run – I brought recipes inside with me, since I hadn’t written all the ingredients on my list. I’ve been a bit out of sorts as far as meal planning, but when I got home I did a bunch of prep work, and re-organized my fridge, freezer, and pantry, so I’m hoping to have a better idea of what to eat when my stomach starts growling.

I also did a bunch of laundry – mainly, the curtains I got for hanging in my sound booth. Plus, I started setting up the rope lights.

Thanks for reading what I’m writing,

Jody Susan

The post down below from 99 days ago includes me wondering if I ought to keep writing these daily posts. I’m glad I kept going, but I’ll be glad to be done. 🙂 Only twenty-two more days to go!

I'm not sure what to say here: I once got second place in a dog-look-alike-contest? I know how to fold a fitted sheet? I'm pretty much a poster child for social backwardness - at least as far as social media is concerned; but I have some stories I think I'm supposed to share and am attempting to do that here, in this space.
