It’s hard to believe I’ve been doing these posts for eleven months now. I highly doubt I will do them on a daily basis next year, because my word counts have gotten rather sparse, but I’m glad I’ve been able to stick to my commitment thus far…

What Did I Accomplish Today to Be a Writer?

I did Day 337 of the 100 Words a Day Writing Challenge 2024 through L.A. Writers’ Lab and worked on a presentation I plan to give tomorrow to help people understand story structure and pacing. This is the first time I’ve done anything like this. It will be pretty informal, but my preparations have helped me further solidify the concepts, so hopefully they will help others, too.

I made an appointment to re-record the last two minutes of my audiobook. It cracks me up how there’s always somethin’…

My Current Home Management Strategies to Help Stay Organized as a Writer

I spent nearly all of my typical office hours going through contents that came out of the storage unit. I put up a little post about this on Instagram, if you’re interested in my simplification process. My plan this week is to get over the storage issue speedbump, so I can focus more fully on content. So far, I’ve got four big trash sacks ready to go to the thrift store, so that’s a good start.

I found some precious metal. Too bad it was still attached to somebody’s molars! Talk about a surprise! Be careful when you’re emptying the contents of a tiny envelope – you never know what will land in the palm of your hand.

I washed my hands after that discarded dental discovery and also began cleaning my oven with baking soda, since I had a pie partially capsize last Thursday…

The post down below from 99 days ago makes me curious what “quip” I was talking about, but I’m glad I can’t remember… and also glad I’m not in the Florence, Italy airport flying to Spain, like I was ninety-nine days before that.
