My Journey to Become a Writer 11/25/2024 Post #330

Informative Image

I got home late last night, and I’ve been behind, so this is actually being posted on 11/26.

I needed to do a bunch of yardwork yesterday to get ready for the rain and cold of winter. My wrists are pretty sore from so much lopping…

What Did I Accomplish Today to Be a Writer?

I did Day 330 of the 100 Words a Day Writing Challenge 2024 through L.A. Writers’ Lab and practiced rehearsing story structure in my head while watching a stage production.

I worked on my logo some, and tried to solidify how I want to move forward with this website. I have way too many mixed metaphors in my head and need to get really clear about what I’m trying to accomplish with my writing business.

My Current Home Management Strategies to Help Stay Organized as a Writer

I made a mess yesterday in order to get better order. Right now I’m taking all of the boxes from storage and putting them into like categories in separate rooms, so I can really refine what I want to keep and make my organizational system make sense. I also did a bunch of yardwork to get ready for winter – hopefully having that aspect of upkeep dormant for a season will help me settle in inside the house.

Thanks for reading what I’m writing,

Jody Susan

The post down below from 99 days ago reminds me that it’s been about 200 days since I settled it in my mind to make this manuscript about my mom my top priority. I know I need to persevere, if I’m going to really get it published…

I'm not sure what to say here: I once got second place in a dog-look-alike-contest? I know how to fold a fitted sheet? I'm pretty much a poster child for social backwardness - at least as far as social media is concerned; but I have some stories I think I'm supposed to share and am attempting to do that here, in this space.
