My Journey to Become a Writer 11/18/2024 Post #323

I thought I missed November 13th’s post, so I just wrote it out, hit publish, and realized it was really for December 13th.

This little project of publishing every day of the year feels a bit dimwitted, but I do think the discipline of it has been good for me.

As the year wraps up, I need to decide what I’m going to commit to in the coming year.

What Did I Accomplish Today to Be a Writer?

I did Day 323 of the 100 Words a Day Writing Challenge 2024 through L.A. Writers’ Lab and finally got through the edits of Chapter 11 from my audiobook. I will be so glad to have this task completed.

My Current Home Management Strategies to Help Stay Organized as a Writer

To give my eyes a rest, I set my phone timer for 59 minutes, and when it goes off, I get up and do some straightening and a few tasks before launching into my next computer session. Doing this keeps me from going blind and saves me from having to see messes, because my house stays pretty clean (for the most part).

Thanks for reading what I’m writing,

Jody Susan

The post down below from 99 days ago makes me smile, because I’m almost to the point where I can cut my beau lines off and leave that season of stress behind me…

I'm not sure what to say here: I once got second place in a dog-look-alike-contest? I know how to fold a fitted sheet? I'm pretty much a poster child for social backwardness - at least as far as social media is concerned; but I have some stories I think I'm supposed to share and am attempting to do that here, in this space.
