I woke up way too early.

What Did I Accomplish Today to Be a Writer?

I did Day 310 of the 100 Words a Day Writing Challenge 2024 through L.A. Writers’ Lab and began using my editing software to make a run through my manuscript. I got about a third of the way through – but then needed to leave for a meeting with a writing group. We went through a member’s short story, heard from a new writer, and then I met with someone to work on a strategy for publishing her children’s book.

My Office Management Strategy to Cut Down on Distractions as a Writer

Well, I finally got some proper shelves put up in my office yesterday, so that should help. I have to admit, most of the office habits I hope to have are pretty sporadic at this point, but I’m hoping to improve.
