My Journey to Become a Writer 10/31/2024 Post #305

It’s a dark and windy night.

What Did I Accomplish Today to Be a Writer?

Well, I did Day 305 of the 100 Words a Day Writing Challenge 2024 through L.A. Writers’ Lab and communicated with a few different people in a couple of my writing groups.

Then I met with a businessman to get his advice on some decisions I’m making.

After that I dropped by a coffee shop and wound up talking with three different customer clusters.

When I stepped into the bookstore, I wound up talking with the sales guy about his writing books and bought a few helpful items.

I came home and had a meeting with my website designer, then logged into a class on creating an outline.

After that, I helped somebody make progress on getting my sound booth set up.

Then I worked some on my logo.

Research & Development I’m Doing to Improve My Writing & Business Strategy

My brain is getting so full of “how to” stuff that I think I’m in need of a break from learning. I’ve been trying to understand Scrivener, QuickBooks, MailChimp, WooCommerce, Stripe, Affinity, Pro Writing Aid, and I can’t even think of what else… I’m hoping soon to just sit still and plod through one simple task, instead of scrambling to learn so much at once. Until then,

Thanks for reading what I’m writing,

Jody Susan

The post down below from 99 days ago reminds me of how much strength I’ve gained back from last Summer and Spring. I’m truly grateful to begin feeling like myself again.

I'm not sure what to say here: I once got second place in a dog-look-alike-contest? I know how to fold a fitted sheet? I'm pretty much a poster child for social backwardness - at least as far as social media is concerned; but I have some stories I think I'm supposed to share and am attempting to do that here, in this space.
