I just did a little catch up, because this blog didn’t happen the last two days.
What Did I Accomplish Today to Be a Writer?
- Did Day 298 of the 100 Words a Day Writing Challenge 2024 through L.A. Writers’ Lab
- Sketched out a new structure for my website rebuild with ways in and out of the pages
- Wrote a short story for somebody in my writing group who is working on a collaboration
- Contacted my graphic designer about a logo
- Worked on getting Scrivener all set to manage “my writing world” – website content, social media, manuscripts, email blasts, book blurbs – you name it…
- Participated in an outlining class
- Worked some more in Scrivener
- Wrote three blog posts
Research & Development I’m Doing to Improve My Writing & Business Strategy
Whew-ee – all I can say is that I love Scrivener. At least I think I do. Discovering it while also taking an outline class, and re-designing my website, and trying to finalize a book for publication sometimes feels like the perfect storm, but mostly it feels like a summer breeze on a super-hot day. I’m so relieved!
Thanks for reading what I’m writing,
