My Journey to Become a Writer 10/24/2024 Post #298

I just did a little catch up, because this blog didn’t happen the last two days.

What Did I Accomplish Today to Be a Writer?

  • Did Day 298 of the 100 Words a Day Writing Challenge 2024 through L.A. Writers’ Lab
  • Sketched out a new structure for my website rebuild with ways in and out of the pages
  • Wrote a short story for somebody in my writing group who is working on a collaboration
  • Contacted my graphic designer about a logo
  • Worked on getting Scrivener all set to manage “my writing world” – website content, social media, manuscripts, email blasts, book blurbs – you name it…
  • Participated in an outlining class
  • Worked some more in Scrivener
  • Wrote three blog posts

Research & Development I’m Doing to Improve My Writing & Business Strategy

Whew-ee – all I can say is that I love Scrivener. At least I think I do. Discovering it while also taking an outline class, and re-designing my website, and trying to finalize a book for publication sometimes feels like the perfect storm, but mostly it feels like a summer breeze on a super-hot day. I’m so relieved!

Thanks for reading what I’m writing,

Jody Susan

The post down below from 99 days ago makes me glad my fridge and freezer work – and causes me to rejoice greatly that I’m well on my way towards being more organized than I was before…

I'm not sure what to say here: I once got second place in a dog-look-alike-contest? I know how to fold a fitted sheet? I'm pretty much a poster child for social backwardness - at least as far as social media is concerned; but I have some stories I think I'm supposed to share and am attempting to do that here, in this space.
