It’s been a day of big decisions.

To me, even small decisions are a big deal, because I am decidedly indecisive…

What Did I Accomplish Today to Be a Writer?

• I did Day 275 of the 100 Words a Day Writing Challenge 2024 through L.A. Writers’ Lab.
• Tried to adjust graphics for the mobile version of my site, but for some reason they still went beyond the bleed lines… or maybe it was a matter of Apple not clearing the cache. I can’t tell.
• I practiced a piece that I’m reading at the Wabash County History Museum in a few days.
• I went to the museum and made a run through our upcoming program with the other writers in my group.
• I decided to buy a sound booth to make future recordings more efficient, since I won’t have to go anyplace to put them together.
• I met with a web-designer and decided to hand my site over to someone who has more experience.
• I worked on my “Subscribe” form.

Those last two were big ones – well, all of them were, really…

But other than the first one, I really didn’t write. Maybe that’s made it easier to decide “yes” on anything that might save me time – so I can get back to actually working on books.

My Office Management Strategy to Cut Down on Distractions as a Writer

I can’t say that I’m not distracted, nor will I portray myself as “put together” in the office arena at this point, but little by little I’m beginning to inch a bit closer.
