I’m heading out the door for tap and ballet lessons. It’s 5:49 p.m., and that’s my attempt at not being a hermit.

What Did I Accomplish Today to Be a Writer?

I did Day 261 of the 100 Words a Day Writing Challenge 2024 through L.A. Writers’ Lab, met with some fellow writers about an upcoming event, connected with our local Chamber of Commerce, spoke with someone about helping me with web design, worked on the “gallery” I’m making for my audiobook, and tried to create a better menu/ landing page for this website…

My Office Management Strategy to Cut Down on Distractions as a Writer

My stacks are getting smaller, thanks to a concerted effort to chip away at my piles a little more each day.

I almost always have my ringer off, and that helps immensely with not getting interrupted.

Enough said – I need to step, ball, change to my car and step on the gas to get to class for a change of pace…

I'm not sure what to say here: I once got second place in a dog-look-alike-contest? I know how to fold a fitted sheet? I'm pretty much a poster child for social backwardness - at least as far as social media is concerned; but I have some stories I think I'm supposed to share and am attempting to do that here, in this space.
