I spent most of today preparing to finish my audiobook and setting up a gallery on my website to go with it.

It’s 8:21 p.m., so I’m making myself come to a stopping point, but today was a reminder of how much I love to work, if I can do it without being hustled and harassed by a hundred other things I think I need to be doing.

What Did I Accomplish Today to Be a Writer?

I did Day 256 of the 100 Words a Day Writing Challenge 2024 through L.A. Writers’ Lab and edited my manuscript, so that it will be lined up with the audio-version. I also listened to Eats Shoots and Leaves, which I would highly recommend. It makes grammar into a lovely topic. Seriously, I’m not even being sarcastic. Who knew talk on semi-colons could bring me such delight?

Research & Development I’m Doing to Improve My Writing & Business Strategy

Eats Shoots and Leaves is the research I’m doing on improving my grammar, and my website gallery is what I’m developing for this manuscript and hopefully books that will follow fast behind. I’m trying to establish a grammatical style and practical templates for more efficient publication.
