My Journey to Become a Writer 09/06/2024 Post #250

The weather took a big dip today, and I’m loving the chill in the air.

I made it through another week, and I do feel like I moved forward some.

What Did I Accomplish Today to Be a Writer?

I did Day 250 of the 100 Words a Day Writing Challenge 2024 through L.A. Writers’ Lab and practiced reading through the rest of my manuscript to prepare for recording next week. I had a session planned for today but woke up with a pretty gravelly voice, so we decided to wait until Monday to move forward. No matter, I read ahead and feel much more prepared to relax this weekend and face working next week.

Right now I’m really still pulling inward, trying to pace myself while my body heals and get my stuff in order from so much chaos and moving around. My goal is to get myself on firm fitting before I try much outreach. That takes a lot of the pressure to preform off my shoulders (I’m probably the main one that put it there in the first place).

Thanks for reading what I’m writing,

Jody Susan

The post down below from 99 days ago reminds me of what bad shape my body was in on that day. I’m sure glad it recovered quickly, because I was in severe pain…

I'm not sure what to say here: I once got second place in a dog-look-alike-contest? I know how to fold a fitted sheet? I'm pretty much a poster child for social backwardness - at least as far as social media is concerned; but I have some stories I think I'm supposed to share and am attempting to do that here, in this space.
