I’ve let myself work way late tonight making a long-ish term plan through May of 2024.

Ha! It is late – I meant May of 2026 – I don’t plan to be doing any kind of time travel back…

What Did I Accomplish Today to Be a Writer?

I did Day 243 of the 100 Words a Day Writing Challenge 2024 through L.A. Writers’ Lab and participated in Quiet Friday, where I took the opportunity to work on a story structure outline.

Tonight I’ve been plotting out goals for getting books launched and growing my business.

I think my story “My Carry On” cleared final draft status for the True Tales Memoir Series. That feels like quite a hurdle. I’m still not holding my breath, because I know they could change their minds, but I’m grateful that I’ve done what I could, and I can tell my understanding of story structure is much better now.

I also worked on getting images and copy ready for our upcoming local collaboration.

Thanks for reading what I’m writing,

I'm not sure what to say here: I once got second place in a dog-look-alike-contest? I know how to fold a fitted sheet? I'm pretty much a poster child for social backwardness - at least as far as social media is concerned; but I have some stories I think I'm supposed to share and am attempting to do that here, in this space.
