Today is my day off, and I sure do need it.

What Did I Accomplish Today to Be a Writer?

This is pre-posted since it’s my day off, but I’m guessing I did Day 224 of the 100 Words a Day Writing Challenge 2024 through L.A. Writers’ Lab and hopefully took a nap.

What I’m Doing as Chief Operating Officer of My Writing Business to Move Forward

I’m trying my best to stick with a plan. I set a budget a few weeks ago with some benchmark goals that have helped me steer clear of major decisions that would definitely derail this whole becoming a writer strategy.

Each branch of this business has to be balanced out – having an orderly home and office, continuing to churn out content, increasing research and development (so I can know what to do with all my words), and marketing and distribution (so my efforts can bear fruit) are all aspects that have to be factored in.

Divvying up time, energy, and resources between those categories helps keep things more even keel. Otherwise, there’s infighting between my ears. 🙂

The post down below from 99 days ago was probably when I was incognito in Switzerland, or about to be – I didn’t want to send that information out over the internet at the time. The one 99 days before that talks about the beau lines in my toes – they still haven’t fully recovered from the stress, but are making their way up in the world…
