What Did I Accomplish Today to Be a Writer?

I probably did Day 196 of the 100 Words a Day Writing Challenge 2024 through L.A. Writers’ Lab, but this is pre-posted to celebrate my day off, so I can’t say for sure.  

What I’m Doing as Chief Operating Officer of My Writing Business to Move Forward

I’m starting to set more deadlines for myself. There is something about an end date that pushes me forward – and makes me tame perfectionism for the sake of getting stuff done.

And I’m having a lot of fun making plans and color coating all the different roles and tasks that come with trying to run a writing business.

Well, better go get rested.

The post down below, from 99 days ago, is from the day when my mower got stuck, and so did I. That was a pretty epic plunge into the field. I guess it’s also when I made my decision to do these 99 day lookbacks. For me, they have been helpful, because I’m certainly not where I was three months ago.
