My Journey to Become a Writer 06/30/2024 Post #182

We’re halfway through the year, and I’m taking a day to rest up for the rest.

What Did I Accomplish Today to Be a Writer?

I probably did Day 182 of the 100 Words a Day Writing Challenge 2024 through L.A. Writers’ Lab, but this is pre-posted in honor of my day off, so I can’t say for sure.

As for Instagram, here’s what was up to bat for yesterday:

This was the gym at my hotel in Italy – which was free through Hilton Honors

What I’m Doing as Chief Operating Officer of My Writing Business to Move Forward

I have a whole room dedicated to dry erase boards. A few of my favorite things are planning, strategy, and goals – but a few of my most dreaded things are messy planners, undone tasks, and evidence of how many times I change my mind, so I love dry erase boards. 🙂

My hope is to close up shop and go do some scribbling on them.

Thanks for reading what I’m writing,

Jody Susan

The post down below, from 99 days ago was one I could hardly read. I just skimmed it, but even doing that felt like too much to me. I was so overwhelmed this Spring. I know the Lord brought me through, and what I wrote back then will be worked for good, but I’m not gonna lie – I can’t face it for a while:

I'm not sure what to say here: I once got second place in a dog-look-alike-contest? I know how to fold a fitted sheet? I'm pretty much a poster child for social backwardness - at least as far as social media is concerned; but I have some stories I think I'm supposed to share and am attempting to do that here, in this space.
