My Journey to Become a Writer 06/28/2024 Post #180

It’s been a super intense, task-oriented week, and I’m tired, so I’ll keep this short.

What Did I Accomplish Today to Be a Writer?

I did Day 180 of the 100 Words a Day Writing Challenge 2024 through L.A. Writers’ Lab, participated in Quiet Friday, and went through people’s feedback on my upcoming collaboration piece.

After that, I gave my “nearly final copy” to some people who are described in my story, because I wanted their approval before putting it into print.

And I cleared off my desk.

Here’s yesterday’s Instagram installment – a tour of my “tiny house” type hotel room in Florence, Italy:

My Marketing & Distribution Strategies for Publishing & Improving My Platform

Today I struggled through trying to find a more efficient way to share on social media. I just really don’t like Meta’s Business Suite, and I don’t really know that I want to deal with Facebook – it stresses me out every time I’m on it (which is a rare occurrence – Facebook – not stress). I’m supposed to meet with someone tomorrow to get a more strategic plan – I’m hoping that helps.

Thanks for reading what I’m writing,

Jody Susan

The post down below, from 99 days ago, reminds me that I may be tired, but not as tired as back in March:

I'm not sure what to say here: I once got second place in a dog-look-alike-contest? I know how to fold a fitted sheet? I'm pretty much a poster child for social backwardness - at least as far as social media is concerned; but I have some stories I think I'm supposed to share and am attempting to do that here, in this space.
