Well, I may or may not have just broken my foot. It’s sure got a big goose egg on it.

Falling objects can really put a damper on a pedestrian’s stride.

Considering what fell, I guess it could be a whole lot worse.

What Did I Accomplish Today to Be a Writer?

I did Day 163 of the 100 Words a Day Writing Challenge 2024 through L.A. Writers’ Lab and went through my manuscript using Microsoft Word’s Editor feature. It picks out grammatical and spelling errors and checks for things like conciseness and “inclusion”. I also went through my Media Library on this site to keep filling in the Alt Text, captions, and descriptions correctly.

Tuesdays I Try to Focus on Office Management

Sometimes I wonder how papers, receipts, and random objects can accumulate so rapidly. Today I sorted stuff into piles and started putting it away. Nothing too exciting.

Looking back at this post from 99 Days ago, and hearing the Daniel Tiger song, makes me wince a little, because I seem to be going back downhill again physically. Maybe a broken foot could help me get enough rest to make my heart beat normally again…
