My Journey to Become a Writer 06/03/2024 Post #155

A semi nearly ran me off the road tonight. We were side by side with me doing about sixty on the shoulder after he decided to switch into my lane.

I guess he missed the memo that the left lane was being dedicated to a gaggle of orange cones.

I was already beyond tired. Now I’m just plain exhausted.

What Did I Accomplish Today to Be a Writer?

I stayed alive, and I did Day 155 of the 100 Words a Day Writing Challenge 2024 through L.A. Writers’ Lab.  I also met with my memoir group and read a piece from my manuscript. I’m too tired to elaborate more. It was a very emotional day with lots of memories of loved ones I’ve lost, plus a mishap trying to repair an appliance, so I’m just gonna sign out and try to go to sleep.

I’m so thankful God’s mercies are new every morning.

Thanks for reading what I’m writing,

Jody Susan

I'm not sure what to say here: I once got second place in a dog-look-alike-contest? I know how to fold a fitted sheet? I'm pretty much a poster child for social backwardness - at least as far as social media is concerned; but I have some stories I think I'm supposed to share and am attempting to do that here, in this space.
