My Journey to Become a Writer 02/22/2024 Post #53

It’s 8:21 p.m.

I’m just starting this post, and still have plenty to do.

At some point, I’ll just have to cut myself off, and go ahead and brush my teeth and call it a night.

What Did I Accomplish Today to Be a Writer?

I did Day 53 of the 100 Words a Day Writing Challenge 2024 through LA Writer’s Lab.

I made an eye appointment, because all this screen time is definitely having an effect on my eyes.

I worked some more on my Canva business card design, thought I lost half of it, and finally recovered that piece.

In the course of doing that, I decided to add some more QR codes to give people a better idea of what kind of content I have to offer. That meant writing a more posts, filming a short video, making designs in Canva, uploading to YouTube, and adding captions, and end cards, or whatever they’re called. There were tags and titles to think through – and images to edit and describe.

The lists are endless; but I do find I enjoy this sort of work.

Tomorrow is my deadline for printing those business cards.

In the meantime, here’s a look at some of the things I created for today:

My books about the barn seem to be getting closer to publication; but I’d better not hold my breath.

Here’s a post I made about my cargo trailer, with a video included:

Plus I made another page for my menu:

That seems like plenty of information for one day, so I’m signing off.

Thanks for reading what I’m writing,

Jody Susan

P.S. I really like this picture:

I'm not sure what to say here: I once got second place in a dog-look-alike-contest? I know how to fold a fitted sheet? I'm pretty much a poster child for social backwardness - at least as far as social media is concerned; but I have some stories I think I'm supposed to share and am attempting to do that here, in this space.
